Prime Day has begun with thousands of deals now live, and video game deals are everywhere. You can score physical games, SSDs for PS5, Switch 2 cases, and much more on sale this week. However, when it comes to Xbox, Walmart has the best console deal available at the moment, with the Xbox Series S for $314.99. This is lower than any other retailer right now, and if you've yet to jump into the latest Xbox generation, now is a great time, especially before The Outer Worlds 2 and Ninja Gaiden 4 release this Fall.

Xbox Series S (512GB) for $314.99 at Walmart

The Series S is a great console that you can use however you'd like, whether for playing games, watching movies, or streaming the latest TV shows. This edition includes a 512GB console in Robot White and an Xbox Controller, which is all you need to get started. With Xbox Game Pass, you will have access to all of Microsoft's first-party games, which now include Activision, Blizzard, and Bethesda games. Keep in mind that this is a digital-only console, so you won't be able to play physical games on it.

If you haven't paid too much attention to console prices, the price of $314.99 might confuse you, as the Xbox Series S, at one point, started at $299. That changed earlier this year when Xbox announced that it would immediately raise prices on Xbox consoles, with $80 first-party games set to begin in Fall 2025. Due to these decisions, the price of Xbox Series S rose to $379.99, an $80 increase from the previous MSRP. So, $75 off at $314.99 is a good deal all things considered.

In addition to this console deal, Walmart has also been dropping prices on Xbox controllers. Those discounts are definitely worth checking out as well if you're looking to play any multiplayer games on your console.
