Amazon is having a sale – it’s the last day of the Prime Big Deal Days sale – and that means one thing: cheap gummy bears. Albanese “World’s Best” Gummi Bears have a relatively light 15% discount with Prime, but that’s all the excuse I need to add another 4.5 lbs of sugary perfection to my life.
Albanese Gummi Bears Deal
Specifically, the deal gets you two 30 oz bags of these 12-flavor Gummi Bears. That works out to two 2.25 lb bags, which if my math is correct adds up to 4.5 pounds total. That’s a lot of candy for not a lot of money.
For the uninitiated, Albanese Gummi Bears are indeed the world’s best gummies. Granted, as the Dude famously said, “Yeah? Well that’s just, like, your opinion, man.” And it is. But I’ve tried all kinds of gummy bears, and these are my favorite by a landslide.
They’re sweet, but not so sweet that they become cloying. They’re not too tough to chew, but they’re not too soft, either. They’re the Goldilocks of gummies. And they always get discounted whenever Amazon has a big sale event. It would have been nice if they’d gone even lower than $16.11, but in this economy it’s hard to complain about getting nearly five pounds of deliciousness for that price.
