We Gave This Gaming Headset a 9, and It's Nearly Half Price Ahead of Amazon Prime Day

SteelSeries is a jack of all trades these days, and it’s a master of many of them. One of our favorite gaming headsets, the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 4X Wireless, has seen a steep discount ahead of Prime Day 2025.

Last year, we gave the Arctis Nova 4X Wireless a stunning 9/10 in our full review, and our reviewer Dylan Horetski said “I firmly believe that the Nova 4X microphone is the best you’ll get in a wireless gaming headset in this price range, and the added customization with Sonar on the PC only makes it better.”

A ringing endorsement indeed, but now that it’s discounted in the pre-Prime Day deals at Amazon, it’s only getting stronger.

The retailer has knocked 46% off the list price, bringing its $125 price tag down to just $67.98.

Why Choose This SteelSeries Arctis Headset?

What makes this a headset worthy of your time? Where to begin. For starters, 15 minutes of USB-C charging gets you 6 hours of battery life, with a maximum battery life of 36 hours.

It’s also got some absolutely fantastic audio chops, including SteelSeries’ own Sonar EQ on PC. If you’re not playing on Windows, fear not because the Arctis Nova 4X Wireless also plays nicely with any other console, or your phone and tablet, and is able to connect via the included USB-C dongle.

"The SteelSeries Arctis Nova 4X is the budget wireless headset to beat." - Dylan Horetski for IGN

If that all sounds good, here’s the real kicker: This is the lowest price the Arctis Nova 4X has ever been at Amazon according to our in house price tracker. Don't believe me? CamelCamelCamel is saying the same as well!

Still, with Prime Day just hours away, you might want to consider waiting. It's not uncommon for already discounted items to get even deeper sales when the event begins, and for the sake of 24 hours I'd recommend holding fire for now, just in case we see a better deal for Prime members.

Don't forget, the big sales event kicks off tomorrow, and there's already $450 worth of freebies for Prime members up for grabs as well.
