Deus Ex Remastered is on the way, and it’s already got a release date of February 5, 2026, for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox.
Sony and Aspyr Media announced a refresh for the original Deus Ex video game during its September 2025 State of Play today. It comes with a trailer, teasing a re-release for a classic that is only a few months away from launch.
Aspyr calls Deus Ex Remastered the "definitive version" of Ion Storm's original immersive sim. Although exact details on all of the changes have yet to be revealed, the studio promises players can look forward to "visual upgrades, modern enhancements, and quality-of-life improvements."
"The year is 2052," an official description of Deus Ex Remastered's story says. "Societies are teetering on collapse, plagues spread unchecked, and shadow governments shape the future. You are JC Denton—a nano-augmented UNATCO operative tasked with protecting order. But the deeper you dig, the more lies you uncover. What begins as a mission becomes a fracture point in human history."
