There's never been a better time to invest in a Sonos home audio setup. Sonos is offering a pre-matched Dolby Atmos surround set consisting of the Sonos Beam Gen 2 soundbar and two Era 100 speakers on sale for $727 (normally $937). But there's actually a way for you to build out the exact same setup but well under $500.
For October Prime Day, Amazon is offering 35% off coupon that works on hundreds of items at Amazon Resale (formerly Warehouse). This is Amazon's official channel for used products. The coupon happens to work on "Like New" condition Sonos speakers, including the Beam Gen 2 soundbar and the Era 100 smart speaker.
A "like new" Sonos Beam Gen 2 soundbar will run you $237.45. A "like new" Era 100 speaker costs $112.81 each and you'll need two to complete this surround setup. Your total cost will end up being $463.07 with free shipping. The Sonos Beam Gen 2 is a 26" long, 5.0-channel soundbar with height channels for Dolby Atmos support. The Sonos Era 100 is a compact bookshelf style speaker with two wide-angled tweeters and a mid-woofer, each powered by class-D digital amps. Combined, they make for a pretty awesome trio that supports Dolby Atmos streams for immersive spatial audio. The only way to make this system better is to add a subwoofer, which you can add at a later time when the Sub Mini goes on sale.
Amazon Resale "Like New" items are in pristine condition; in fact, there's a good chance the unit you receive is brand new and there is only minor damage to the packaging. Resale items are also eligible for Amazon's 30-day return policy.
