While a new generation of mutant dinosaurs might not appear quite as, well, big on your TV or laptop (no judgment) as they would towering on a theater screen, not all of us can make the time to get out to the movies. Fortunately, Jurassic World Rebirth is now available to watch online through digital platforms like Prime Video.
The latest instalment in the Jurassic Park franchise introduces new characters, played by Jonathan Bailey, Scarlett Johansson, and Mahershala Ali, who are part of a task force to acquire the DNA of the strongest creatures from the land, air, and sea. IGN’s review calls out a “disappointing amount of the same old thing” in the new sequel, but sometimes you just want to watch dinosaurs do crazy things, and that’s OK. Especially when those crazy things also involve Jonathan Bailey in tiny glasses.
Jurassic World Rebirth Arrives on Digital
Jurassic Park Rebirth has arrived on digital a little over four weeks after releasing in theaters. Despite the quick turnaround, Jurassic World Rebirth has still been massive at the box office, grossing over $750 million globally, in large part due to a massive opening weekend.
At the time of writing, the Jurassic World sequel is the fourth highest grossing movie of 2025, only behind family hits like Ne Zha 2, Lilo & Stitch, and A Minecraft Movie. The movie’s success also cemented Scarlett Johansson’s place as the highest grossing lead actor of all time.
4K Steelbook and Streaming Release Dates
Unfortunately, we have no word on a streaming release date, but we do know the movie will eventually join the rest of the Jurassic Park franchise on Peacock. Based on previous Universal releases, I’d guess Jurassic World Rebirth arrives on the streaming service this November. Universal recently expanded their agreement with Netflix to include live-action films, but that deal won't go into effect until 2027.
In the meantime, a 4K steelbook and Blu-ray edition of the film are both set to release on September 9.
The Jurassic Park franchise has been around for quite some time now, and it doesn’t seem like it’s reaching a full conclusion any time soon. Director Gareth Edwards has floated the idea of a sequel, which appears more likely given the recent box office haul from Rebirth.
While it may not come into play in a movie, The Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson is also giving his best shot at achieving a “Jurassic Park” in real life, starting with resurrecting an extinct bird. LEGO has also been bringing the franchise to life, at least in plastic brick form, starting with a massive T-Rex set.
